Promptly at 6(ish) we headed off to Thirapathi to the Hotel Bliss for an opportunity to celebrate and honor the medical doctors, support staff and evangelists of Good Shepherd Mission. We had the extreme pleasure of bestowing upon these amazing saints gifts Good Shepherd previously purchased just for them. We were then treated to a very HOT (as in spicy) Indian buffet. Thank goodness it was followed by vanilla ice cream pleasantly extinguishing the effects of dinner on our very American tongues! (Everyone except Andrew that is!)
(The trip over to the Hotel Bliss will be a lasting memory…the introduction to an Indian rush hour – fully awake – WOW!)
